Welcome to Roots & Refuge, the Tapestry Farms monthly produce subscription
We're excited to offer a fresh, locally grown monthly subscription featuring hydroponically grown lettuce and seasonal vegetables grown in our urban farm system. Each month from July through November, subscribers will receive crisp, nutrient-rich lettuce and our farmers' selection of seasonal vegetables and herbs. Members will enjoy locally grown, healthy produce while providing key support to the Tapestry Farms mission of investing in refugees and providing welcome to all.
What is Community Supported Agriculture?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between a farm and a community of people who support the farm's operations. Members pay a fee to the farm, either in a lump sum or installments. In exchange, they receive a share of the farm's produce. CSAs benefit both farmers and customers. For farmers, CSAs provide a steady income and encouragement. For customers, CSAs provide access to fresh produce grown sustainably by people they know.

SUMMER ROOTS (FRESH LETTUCE & VEGETABLES)
Summer Roots includes a robust farmers' selection of in-season vegetables, beautiful leafy greens, and tasty herbs grown in our urban farm system throughout the Quad Cities, which includes our hydroponics container and our 12 urban gardens.
We offer a sliding scale on our veggies. Here’s why:
We believe that fresh, healthy, locally grown food should be accessible to everyone. By offering a sliding scale for our CSA, we’re making it possible for more people to participate while ensuring fair compensation for our urban farm staff.
With this approach, those who can pay a little more help make it possible for others to participate at a level that works better for their budget. Our aim is an inclusive food system that benefits everyone. Becoming a member of our CSA is an investment in our mission to build resilience through sustainable agriculture and ensure that refugee families in the Quad Cities have opportunities to grow.
If you’re able, consider choosing a higher tier to help us grow the impact of Tapestry Farms. And if a lower tier is the best fit for you, we’re grateful to have you as part of the community.
